Association  “ Tamburica Janike Balaža” was founded 10.02.2001. in city of Novi Sad in Vojvodina – Serbia & Montenegro. In that February – group of citizens, fans of Tamburica music, all Janika`s co-operators , musicians ,editors, ethnomusicologists, employers of Radio televizija Novi Sad together around good will temple, meditation house, free mind & tolerance valley  “ Bircauz JOE” (pub ), decided to establish citizens association to keep memory of great Tamburica player and artist - Janika Balaž. With respect of traditions, heritage of tamburica and all “ MAESTRO’S” work we put four target in front of us.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We are proudly present that firs tree target are successfully finished, specially considering the facts of non – profit character of association. All of us members are truly volunteers.

Association count 200 members and family of Janika Balaž agree for using his name as association name.

     1.Built and place monument of Janika Balaž in Novi Sad.

     2.Foundation of small tamburica orchestra festival –                                  

       „Bisernica (pearl) of Janika Balaž“

      3.Collecting and managing money foundation for                

        scholarships for young tamburica artists.

      4.Tamburica classes in high school and university
