picerija “ GASTON”

The name is speaking everything. Bard, mister gentleman and king of old-cities songs , entire life dedicated to songs & music. Collect, alive   and keep priceless treasures of beautiful songs, now already evergreens. In lots of them and complete author. Long and fruitful carrier is still living. Co-operate with lots of musicians but longest and, as we thought, best with Janika Balaž and his „ Eight players of tamburica from Petrovaradin“ band.

ZVONKO BOGDAN

“They were good solo player but leading by maestro Janika Balaž , sound like one. In front of them , music have unusual stability and sound, like from god.“ Zvonko used to say for Janika’s orchestra.

Considering we are non-profit and non-goverment organization we sugested to Zvonko Bogdan to sing a night for our foundation. He agree but with one condition: he insist to make program and all artist design of concert. And he did it. Better, bricer, bigger and with more soul than anybody. With „Mile Nikolić” tamburica orchestra and “Hajo” orchestra from Subotica he named that evening “Već odavno spremam svog mrkova” – as one of his most popular song.

That 2003. June evening was great one in hall of  Serbian national theatre in Novi Sad.

Lucky ones, the ones with tickets, will never forget the night. Simply there are no words to describe that evening. Unforgettable. We saw how both Janika Balaž and Zvonko Bogdan are greats. Association thanks him with small bronzes sculpture of Janika Balaž by Laslo Silađi.
